Brand new rail from Corus, manufactured a few weeks ago.

Track was soon laid under the B4632 road bridge. The bridge team were putting up new fencing on the right.

Oops - Mr Lees won't want to take the train over this joint ! Time for some packing. This rail is so new it still has a bar code on it !

Temporary clamps help us get the works train over bad joints. These will be welded soon.

First 'passengers' under the B4632 road bridge

Around 10 panels laid, Stanton Fields road bridge in distance getting closer. Beyond this the two Dave's were clearing the undergrowth.

The P.Way train was exceptionally long today, containing ballast wagons, flat wagons of sleepers, tools and mess coach.
